New to geo-caching. What is it?

A geo-cache is hidden in a location and is found by using a gps device or gps enabled mobile phone. There are over  2 million caches worldwide.

On the Alentejo Coast.

Along the walking trails of the Rota Vicentina, as well as in and around the coastal villages between Porto Covo and Odeceixe, there are more than 60 geocaches to be found.

We have put together a couple  of self-guided walking programmes that will enable you to stay in the area and find as many of the caches as time allows.

Alentejo coastal tour - 6 days - 4walks.

Self-guided geo-caching over six days along the Fishermen's Trail of the Rota Vicentina from Porto Covo to Odeceixe on the Alentejo- Algarve border..

The package includes 5 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in family owned and managed guest houses, together with pic-nic lunches.

Alentejo coastal tour - 8 days - 6 walks.

Self-guided geocaching on foot over eight days along the south west Alentejo coast on and around the Fishermen's Trail of the Rota Vicentina between Porto Covo and Odeceixe.

This programme offers a more leisurely opportunity to find the same caches as on the 6 day programme and the opportunity to seek out a few more.

The package includes 7 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in family owned and managed guest houses, together with pic-nic lunches.
