Itinerary.

Collect a hire car on arrival at Lisbon or Faro airport, before driving to your chosen guest house  near the  Alentejo coast.

You can choose to stay at one or more rural guest houses in São Luís, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Odemira, Santa Clara a Velha, São Teotónio or Odeceixe, which each have a swimming pool.

Then, on each day you can decide which of the available circular walks you wish to undertake. Some walks may commence directly from the accommodation, whilst others require a short drive to reach the start point, which is often less than 30 minutes drive away, but at most an hour's drive.

At the end of your stay you return the hire car to  the original airport.

Walking. Varied walking tour only requiring a good basic fitness level. You walk on well maintained marked walking trails and partly on forest paths.  On the coastal trails there is a considerable amount of dune walking. Daily walking times are max. 7 hours.

Extend the hire car period,  so if you want to explore Portugal a bit more, you can  travel about  at your leisure.

What's included.

These packages include  bed and breakfast in twin/double rooms with ensuite bathroom, car hire (Ford Ka or similar, petrol engine, manual transmission, GPS, unlimited kms, 2nd driver, airport tax, CDW with excess), a walk information pack with maps and GPS co-ordinates for each walk and accommodation, briefing meeting at first accommodation, support telephone line, 4x4 emergency support vehicle.

They exclude flights, travel insurance*,  lunches and dinners, personal expenses, gratuities and fuel for car.
